Schedule Fee of Support At Home - QLD

Support At Home (SAH) participants will need to contribute to the cost of independence and everyday living services. They will not contribute to the cost of clinical services, such as nursing care. This contribution will depend on their individual circumstances. 

1st Care Community minimises the service cost to allow older people to get the most and best care from us. 1st Care Community provides in-home care services through Support at Home to support the elderly who need to stay at home.

Below table is a guideline showing the maximum numbers of service hours ($78 per hour) per week:
Restorative Care Pathway and End-of-Life Pathway:
  • Care management fee is $100 per hour
AT-HM Scheme:
  • An administration cost associated with the provision of assistive technology would be charged 10% of each invoice, capped at $500.
  • A co-ordination cost associated with home modifications would be charged 15% of each invoice, capped at $1500.
Notes:
  • Standard service hours are 6 am – 8 pm. 
  • The Service Fees and Charges for after-hours care, sleepovers and cottage respite will be quoted. 
  • Minimum service hours will be 2 hours for standard services. Cancellation and change of services require 48 business hours’ notification; otherwise, 2 hours of service charges will apply.
  • The Schedule Fee is subject to change.
  • Any Third-Party services at the participant’s request, 1st Care Community will charge an additional 10% to the actual cost for administration purposes. 
  • Participant contributions are assessed by Services Australia. Please apply for the Fee Reduction Supplement if it is difficult to pay the contribution.

Support At Home is open to seniors over 65 years of age, or over 50 years for Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islanders, who need:

  • Ongoing services
  • Multiple services, or one service at a high frequency
  • High-level support
